KCC Silicone Expands Its Reach in the Chinese Cosmetics Market with 'KCC Beauty Day in China' 2024-08-23

From August 26 to 30, 2024, KCC Silicone will host the 'KCC Beauty Day in China' event, a raw materials seminar in collaboration with major Chinese cosmetics clients, in Guangzhou and Shanghai.

Through aggressive marketing efforts in China, KCC Silicone has built strong partnerships with numerous Chinese cosmetics companies. Approximately 300 customers, including Proya, the leading cosmetics company in China, are expected to attend the 'KCC Beauty Day in China' event in Guangzhou and Shanghai to experience KCC Beauty firsthand.

During the event, KCC Silicone will introduce its latest products and a variety of specialty items, with a focus on sun care products tailored to Chinese market trends.

Key products to be showcased include the ZD and TI series, which are dispersions of zinc oxide (ZnO) and titanium dioxide (TiO2). These inorganic UV filters reflect sunlight, providing protection against UVA and UVB rays. Compared to chemical organic UV filters, they offer greater stability and longer-lasting protection. However, because they are in powder form, they tend to clump together when applied directly to cosmetics, making them difficult to disperse, which can reduce their effectiveness.

KCC Silicone's ZD and TI series are fluid-based products that disperse these inorganic UV filters uniformly, effectively blocking UVA and UVB rays. They are easy to use due to their excellent dispersion properties, especially when combined with KCC's proprietary poly-glycerin modified dispersants, SeraSol PF 106 and PF 116, which ensure exceptional dispersion stability. Additionally, the ZD 20 and TI 20 products, based on linear silicone dimethicone as the base oil, will also be featured.

Furthermore, KCC will promote other products, including the SPF boosting gels SeraSilk EL 30 and EL 31, which have garnered positive feedback at international exhibitions such as In-Cosmetics 2024, and SeraSense RBS 11, a thixotropic film former with excellent compatibility with other cosmetic ingredients.

With the sun care market in China expanding due to global warming, KCC Beauty's sun care silicone products are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the efficacy and user experience of sun care products.

Through this event, KCC Silicone aims to actively promote the KCC brand and its new products, laying the groundwork to establish a strong brand image and become the leading company in the Chinese cosmetics market.
