Creating value from silicone

KCC Silicone has achieved first place for the 13th year in a row in the sealant (silicone) category of the Korean Standard-Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI). The KS-QEI is a quality measurement model jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association (KSA) and the Korean Society for Quality Management (KSQM). It reflects customer satisfaction and product characteristics for goods (both products and services) and serves as a comprehensive index evaluating quality excellence and satisfaction. The assessment is based on surveys of consumers and experts who have direct experience with the company's products, and has been in place since 2005.

The 2024 Quality Satisfaction Index survey was hosted by the KSA with support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy’s Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, along with the KSQM. The survey evaluated 119 consumer goods, durable goods, industrial goods, and services that directly or indirectly impact consumers. KCC Silicone achieved first place in the industrial goods’ sealant (silicone) category. Notably, after being inducted into the “Hall of Fame” for securing the top position for ten consecutive years, KCC Silicone has continued to excel, maintaining its commitment to quality and innovation. With ongoing investment in technology development, KCC Silicone has achieved this remarkable 13-year milestone, cementing its position as a leader in the industry.
