KCC Silicone's Jeonju Plant 3 actively participated in a safety campaign aimed at preventing accidents caused by chemical substances. The campaign was held on the morning of Tuesday, September 3rd, at the intersection near Iksan Central Sports Park. It was attended by over 100 individuals, including officials from the Jeonbuk Center for the Prevention of Major Industrial Accidents, Iksan Office of Employment and Labor, the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and representatives from local chemical plants. As a member of the Jeonbuk Regional Chemical Plant Association, KCC Silicone's Jeonju Plant aimed to raise awareness about the importance of Process Safety Management (PSM) and contribute to the spread of a safety culture through this campaign. Participants in the campaign used banners, sashes, and placards to promote the "12 Key Action Items for Process Safety Management" to employers and employees on their way to work, highlighting the importance of following safety procedures during work. They particularly emphasized the need for strict adherence to safety rules when handling chemical substances and identifying potential hazards in advance to prevent accidents.
